This section of the website contains an inventory or database of over 140 publications in relation to a literature review
on inter-agency cooperation in public services, with a particular focus on inter-agency co-operation in children’s services.
The material was selected as part of an analysis of literature on inter-agency cooperation in Ireland, commissioned by the
CAAB and conducted by WRC Social and Economic Consultants in summer 2008 (for details click on ‘Background Information’ below).
The focus is publications produced from 1990 to 2008. Details of relevant websites and journals are also provided where applicable.
Included in the database is a literature review of the 140 plus documents, see the report ‘A Literature Review of Inter-Agency Work
with a Particular Focus on Children’s Service’ and three other reports published by the CAAB in 2009.

In 2008 the CAAB commissioned a study to produce a literature review of research literature on inter-agency co-operation
in public services, with a particular focus on inter-agency co-operation in children’s services in Ireland.
This database was produced from the bibliography of the literature review and relevant research published by the CAAB in 2009.
The research was undertaken Carmel Duggan and Carmel Corrigan, WRC Social and Economic Consultants. The literature review
was overseen by a steering committee with representatives from Youthreach, An Garda Síochána, The Irish Youth Justice Service
and The Children's Research Centre, Trinity College Dublin.
